Annette Christensen received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration and a master’s degree in mental health counseling from the University of Phoenix. She has worked for High Country Behavioral Health as a therapist since 2012, working with a wide variety of clients including those who struggle with severe mental illnesses, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma.
Annette utilizes a variety of psycho-therapeutic and evidenced-based approaches Including DBT, CBT, EMDR as well as other evidence-based treatment modalities with her clients. She particularly enjoys working with adults who struggle with trauma and/or substance abuse.
In her spare time, Annette enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She also enjoys riding horses, reading, and being outdoors.
