About Brian:

Brian Decker is a Family Nurse Practitioner with almost 20 years experience caring for a diverse patient population. Not only does he have extensive knowledge treating Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health disorders, he is certified as a Family Practitioner and can care for the individual and family in a comprehensive holistic manner.

Brian grew up in Idaho Falls. He attended, elementary, junior high and high school in Idaho Falls. He became interested in healthcare when he started working at Riverview Hospital while a teenager. After serving a mission for his church he attended Brigham Young University until he was married. At that time he completed an BSN degree at Idaho State University in 1989. Working as an RN for the next 13 years he developed a sense that he could do more and returned to school graduating with an MSN in 2003. Since then, he has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion to provide care for individuals with mental health disorders and substance use disorders.

He will celebrate 37 years of marriage to Jenny Decker in April 2023. He has four wonderful children and 7 grandchildren whom he adores. He and his wife currently live in Rigby, ID and find joy caring for the property and spending time together in their Polaris Razor. He enjoys creative activities including woodworking, painting, and writing.
