About Brooke:
Brooke was born and raised in San Diego CA, and obtained her bachelor's degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Brooke then spent 8 years in the Army where she obtained her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northcentral University after taking an interest in veterans' mental health.
Brooke's early career experiences are rooted in family systems, working primarily in school settings and navigating complex family dynamics which contributed to behavioral issues at school. Brooke also has extensive experience in eating disorders and addiction, and is a Health At Every Size (HAES) and Intuitive-Eating informed clinician.
Brooke is a professionally trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner. IFS is a revolutionary evidence-based model which is showing great success in the treatment of eating disorders, addiction, and even psychosis. IFS assists clients with the deep unburdening and integration of their childhood wounds, helping clients to connect with their own source of power beneath the protective parts that often run the show.
