About Cherity:
Cherity graduated with her master's in social work from Northwest Nazarene University in 2013. Since then, she has enjoyed helping couples, families, adolescents, and adults create the lives they want by developing healthier relationships with themselves and others. Cherity works with her clients from a strengths/solution-focused perspective, using a wide variety of interventions, including DBT, trauma-focused, and attachment/relationship-based approaches. She is currently receiving training in The Gottman Method, which is an approach to couples therapy that includes a thorough assessment of the couple relationship and integrates research-based interventions based on the sound relationship house theory.
When Cherity is not at work, she enjoys reading for both fun and professional growth. Her favorite activity is spending time with her adult children and husband. She is content whether they are hiking through the mountains or vegging on the couch with a movie and treats. Cherity’s main goal in life is to leave the world a better place. She is extremely grateful for the many opportunities of personal development she is given through her work, and for the moments of growth her clients share with her during their journeys.
