About Annie:
Annie has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and is currently working to finish her Master’s degree in Social Services (projected completion 08/23). She is expanding her education to include courses designed to aide her in working with the younger, older and more diverse age groups.
Annie has a strong desire to help others and has a vested interest in the mental health community. She finds value and opportunities to assist her community in maintaining the characteristics that make Southwest Wyoming a desirable place to live. She loves being a small part of promoting and protecting quality and keeping our community this way.
As an intern for High Country Behavioral Health, Annie serves clients in our Evanston and Mountain View, WY offices. She loves working with diverse populations and relates well to children, youth and adults.
Annie's philosophy and approach provide CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solutions-based Therapies, Trauma-Informed Care, Coping, Grounding and Empowerment techniques to improve the client and family’s quality of life. As a treatment provider, it is her goal to work as a partner with you, to help you identify and achieve your personal goals by building on strengths and assisting in the development of needed skills. She will treat you with respect as a unique individual. If a more intensive level of care or treatment outside of her scope of practice or training is warranted, she may provide you with a referral to another professional for those services.
