About Spencer:

A proud graduate of Evanston High School, Spencer went on to complete his undergraduate work at the University of Utah. He worked as a critical care technician for Intermountain Healthcare in the Coronary Intensive Care Unit while finishing bachelors degrees in Biology and Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. Spencer earned his medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine, in Seattle, WA, which was ranked #1 in primary care. While in medical school, he gained specialized training in the care of underserved populations and holds special certification recognizing his commitments to rural communities. Dr. Weston completed his internship and residency at Idaho State Family Medicine Residency in Pocatello, ID, where he was given special certification in surgical obstetrics and delivered hundreds of newborns. During his training, Dr. Weston spent time learning pediatrics at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Boise, ID and experienced excellent pediatric emergency training at Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT. He looks forward to providing medical services with High Country Behavioral Health.

Spencer is passionate about medicine and mental health. He is especially appreciative of the Evanston, WY community who helped shape him into the physician he is today. There is no better reward for him than to holistically improve the lives of people and decrease health costs. It is always a joy for Spencer to spend time with his four children. He can be found playing “dogs chase cats”, a favorite of his kids. Watch for him in Bear Lake where days playing in the sand, jet skiing, and boating have been a long-time family tradition. Some additional hobbies include music and the arts, biking, hiking, snowboarding, and beekeeping.
