About Regan:

Regan Miley received her undergraduate degree from Lewis-Clark State College in Social Work. While in her undergraduate program, Regan interned at First Step 4 Life, a community-based substance abuse center and provided case management and support for those in active addiction and in early recovery. After graduation, she immediately began her graduate program at the University of New England to obtain her masters in Social Work. During this time, she worked with Ameri-Corps VISTA to help develop programs and write grants for First Step 4 Life. Regan’s graduate internship was at Curran-Seeley in Jackson, WY. She worked with clients who faced substance use issues and provided individual and group therapy to court-ordered and voluntary clients. After her internship was completed, Regan went fulltime at Curran-Seeley and received her PCSW for Wyoming. Regan obtained her LMSW for Idaho in August of 2022, and began working with High Country in September of 2022.

Regan enjoys working with all ages. She enjoys working with substance use, mental health, dual diagnoses, and more. She has experience working with trauma, veterans, depression, anxiety, anger, addiction, and personality disorders. She utilizes a strengths-based, trauma-focused, and client-centered approach. Regan believes in empowering the client and letting them lead the therapy sessions. Regan uses, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), as well as other evidenced-based treatment modalities.

Outside of counseling, Regan is a dance teacher and enjoys anything that involves being outdoors, with family, friends, animals, and teaching dancers of all ages. She loves traveling and being able to experience new things and places. While new to the field, Regan has a deep passion for helping others and helping them become empowered and live a happy life that they love. She is dedicated to learning and growing as a professional and person.
