Emily enjoys working with clients with diversified concerns and life challenges, and has a passion for working with anxiety, OCD, and career related concerns. Emily utilizes talk therapy and action-based approaches (Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills) that balance all aspects of self when walking on the journey of growth. Emily has experience working with children, adolescents, teenagers, college students, families, and adults. She has a passion for students and families of students who are struggling with disability identity and the IEP or 504 process. Emily is familiar with solution focused strategies that include actionable steps towards healing and growth.

About Emily:

Emily began in the mental health field in 2023 as a provisional counselor. She then spent two years in the school system as a special education counselor working with IEPs and supporting students. She has a passion for supporting students and families through the IEP or 504 processes. Her experiences in both the mental health and school fields have equipped her to tackle diverse client concerns.

Emily has been in Wyoming since 2017 after moving from Colorado for school and to be closer to family. Emily enjoys reading, music, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and overall spending time with family and friends in the outdoors. Emily has a dog who joins her and her husband on most all of their outdoor adventures, when he is not too busy napping on the couch.
