About Matthew:
Matthew has been a psychiatric nurse practitioner for over two years. The thing he loves about being a nurse practitioner the most is helping people. His desire is to work with you to improve your mental health.
For over two decades, Matthew has been a nurse and has worked in a variety of nursing settings. For example, in hospitals with children. Matthew has also spent years as nursing faculty in the higher education setting preparing the next generation of nurses.
In addition to his nursing and nurse practitioner experience, Matthew volunteers as a court appointed special advocate for children (CASA) working with children in the child-protection setting.
Matthew grew up in the mountain west and has lived in southeast Idaho for over a decade. He loves Idaho, enjoys camping with his family and all the other outdoor activities that the area has to offer and likes having all four seasons. Matthew says he likes the sun in the summer, the leaves changing and the cool breezes in the fall, and even likes the snow in the winter, but is always happy for spring.
