About Rob:

Rob is a licensed counselor with a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Idaho State University. He works with adolescents and adults experiencing a wide variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, mood instability, addiction, psychosis, and post-traumatic stress. Rob primarily draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients explore their thought patterns and behaviors while developing effective coping skills and building tools for navigating life challenges while healing from the past.

Rob's counseling philosophy is centered on creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where client's feel validated, respected, and empowered. He believes each person has inherent strengths and resilience that can be built upon to support growth and well-being. He works collaboratively with clients to increase insight, identify practical skills, and make values-based changes.

Outside of the counseling office, Rob enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, playing frisbee golf, and playing pickleball. He also enjoys playing the piano, watching sports, and opportunities to connect with family and friends.
