About Stephanie:

Stephanie Mohr is a Certified Mental Health Worker through the state of Wyoming. She is also currently a graduate student working toward a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Stephanie is a certified instructor for: QPR and Strengthening Families.  She is also an active member of the American Counseling Association.

Stephanie's personality is open and welcoming. She feels that this helps build trust and rapport with clients, allowing them to fully explore their concerns in a safe, accepting, empathic environment. She is particularly interested in working with survivors of domestic violence, youth and adult survivors of trauma, and LGBTQ issues amongst youth and teens.

Stephanie utilizes a variety of resources to fit the needs of the individual. Mindfulness meditation, emotion regulation, positive affirmations, and exposure are just a few of the methods that can be used to treat a variety of concerns.  Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness Therapy are other modalities she utilizes often.

Her personal philosophy is that all people are the sum of their experiences, but we are not limited by our experience. Instead, all people have the ability to channel the best parts of themselves and use this strength to create a better existence, healthier relationships, and stronger connections.

Stephanie enjoys travelling, learning about new cultures, kayaking, and reading a good book.
