About Wendy:

Wendy has been a Certified Mental Health Worker in Wyoming since 1997, having commenced her career in the field in 1990. Initially, she worked with incarcerated adolescents, but over time, her practice has broadened to include adolescents, adults, and families. As a certified mental health worker (CMHW), Wendy is qualified to apply human services and psychological theories and methods for the assessment, treatment, or prevention of psychosocial dysfunction, disabilities, or impairments, including emotional or mental disorders, under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor in Wyoming. It is important to note that the role of a CMHW does not encompass assigning diagnoses or serving as a primary treatment provider.

Wendy, a native of Wyoming, has one son named Josh. She expresses a deep affection for her home state and, despite having lived in several other states, has returned to Wyoming, where she has resided for the past 31 years. Her interests include spending quality time with family and friends, attending church, enjoying concerts, and embracing various adventures. Additionally, she is an avid football fan, always rooting for the Green Bay Packers.

Wendy's goal is to empower and inspire individuals to focus on their wellness and recognize their inherent strengths, rather than becoming hindered by the stigma of being labeled with mental illness or substance use disorders.
